This Geocaching Event is being held on the traditional lands of the Kaurna people and wish to acknowledge them as Traditional Owners. We would also like to pay our respects to their Elders, past, present and emerging, and acknowledge that the Kaurna people have been an integral part of the history of the region.
The GeocachingSA committee who hosted Oz Mega 2014 Murray Bridge and GeoVenture2020 are please to invite you to Adelaide, South Australia for Australia’s most unique geocaching event on 29th February 2024.

Green car flags along with other merchandise can be collected from the registration desk on arrival.

Accommodation Venues Availiable
Please be aware that the event is at the same period as a number of Adelaide tourist events.
This include the Fringe Festival and other major events in early March.
Accommodation availability may be restricted or subject to opportunistic pricing close to the event.
We have Concentrated on caravan parks to align with typical geocacher style. Other hotel, motel and rentals house options obviously exist.
There is little public transport direct to the geocaching event site. The distance by road to the site is given and none are a standout candidate.
Prices are for Feb 2024 if currently available.

Announcement from GeocachingSA.
With only 99 days until The Great Leap Forward we thought it was time to let everyone know what we have scheduled for the day so that you can plan ahead. The schedule can be found in the description on the cache page or here ⇒
We are excited to announce we have been fortunate to be hosting 2 lackeys from HQ at our event.
For the reviewer session it would be beneficial to have some pre-session questions to present to the reviewers. If you have any questions for a reviewer, you can send them through the geocaching.com message centre to GeocachingSA which is located on the cache page.
The Tug-O-War is a State VS State (and an International team, if there are enough participants) so start preparing for the competition. Each team will have no more than 12 per side. A State can enter more than 1 team. Registration for the Tug-O-War will be available on the day until 1pm.
More details regarding the Dinner event will be announced shortly, stay turned.
Note this is a 1 day Mega event however we are planning on hosting events on Wednesday evening, Friday lunch then events will be scheduled for Saturday. These events will be submitted shortly, so keep an eye out for their publication.

Parking
The Woodville South Football clubrooms have a 58 vehicle car park accessed from Ledger Street.
Ledger Street has parking on both sides of the road. There are over 20 vehicle spaces close to the Clubrooms on each side of the road. Parking options continue in both directions on Ledger Street.
Across the sports oval there is also parking on Hill Street for over 20 vehicles.
