Geocaching South Australia, on behalf of Team Scoobster, invites all geocachers in South Australia this Sunday (8th December) to the Annual SA Christmas Event 2019. This event is always a highlight of the SA Caching calendar, and once again is being hosted at Jenkins Avenue Park in Rostrevor, between 11am and 2pm.
Something a little different this month, highlighting a series of caches, rather than a single listing. One of the earliest series created in South Australia. The series spreads across a large portion of metropolitan Adelaide, and ranges in difficulty from 1.5 stars to 4.5 stars, ensuring there is something everyone can challenge themselves with.
There are very few geocaches you want to visit again and again. This is one of those caches. Gawler Fort Knox was published on 3rd May 2015. In the short time since publication the cache has acquired 379 finds logged, being awarded a massive 250 Favourite Points. Note that this post does contain spoilers!
It is not often that someone new stumbles across geocaching and immediately has other cachers raving about their hides, but in the second half of 2012, that's exactly what happened with the arrival of clojo1! After a number of clever hides, the masterpiece that is 321 Blast Off was published in the middle of 2013, and it is Cache of the Month for June 2019.
It is with great pleasure that Geocaching SA, on behalf of the organising committee, announce the location of GeoVenture 2020. The Millicent show grounds will play host over the Easter weekend from the 10th to the 13th of April.
