GC71Z6E Eagle Hawk Creek (Traditional Cache) by sirchers
Placed on massive redgum this geocache is in a gem of a location. A mostly dry creek bed in the Southern Flinders Ranges. There is road access from both the north and south. Both access roads are good dirt tracks with plenty of gates to keep you or your passengers amused. Why not take the time to camp in this seemingly remote location. In reality you are only 20km from Burra, but it feels like you could be the middle of nowhere. Bring a picnic. Take some time to explore the area. It feels like you have stepped into a Hans Heysen painting. The cache is flood proof. I hope you know what that means. By Freddo
