SKATE PARK ‘SQUID PARK’

The Millicent Skate park is a great place for all skaters to enjoy and is located in the Domain, adjacent to the Millicent Civics & Arts Centre. The Skatepark is a well-designed concrete park and has built in a variety of features such as mini ramps, an open bowl that opens into a street area with ledges, blocks, pyramid and banks.

In 2019 the ‘Squid’ Mural was completed on surface of the concete; the design depicting an amazing large orange squid and was painted by artist Kitt Bennett and sponsored by the Wattle Range Council & Imagine Millicent. Over the past years skating clinics have been held in October with large groups competing in the competitions held after. The skate park area also houses the skate park art installation that was created by Millicent Craft Group & students from community learning centre. The Domain area is highly lit during the evening with the large lights.

Close-by there are some new toilet facilities and if you cross over the footbridge to Jubilee Park there is a BBQ and picnic area and more toilets.
