Geocaching South Australia, on behalf of Team Scoobster, invites all geocachers in South Australia this Sunday (2nd December) to the Annual SA Christmas Event 2018, now into the tenth year of Team Scoobster co-hosting. This event is always a highlight of the SA Caching calendar! Returning for a second time to Jenkins Avenue Park in Rostrevor, between 11am and 2pm. Those who have attended in the past will be pleased to know that the regular event activities will return including:
- Kids Games and Activities
- Mr Tardis‘ Famous Puzzle Quiz
- Temporary Geocaches (to find on the day)
- Geocaching Games
- Goodie Bags
- Fruit Salad, Gingerbread, Fudge and Cupcakes
In addition, this year the Scoobsters will be bringing their very own snow-cone maker for its geocaching event premiere!
Of course, the North versus South Tug of War will be on again, with the usual amount of banter and (tongue in cheek) claims from each side that the other is unfairly advantaged! And we can’t forget everyone’s favourite jolly guest, Santa!
For those who have never attended, photos from past events are shown below. All new cachers are most welcome. Come along, bring a chair or a rug, perhaps a picnic basket lunch and enjoy meeting cachers from all over the state, and share your geocaching stories with others!
